Great Results

Are you nervous about your first time taking an exam of this magnitude? Are you already frustrated at the thought of all the information you need to review? Did you take the ACT as a junior and now realize you need to boost your score by a couple of points to get into the university of your choice? Our test prep tutors understand the importance of the ACT and have a plan in place to calm your fears so you are successful on test day.

There are four basic sections of this exam: english, reading, math and science. There is also an optional section for writing, and you will find some colleges and universities require you to take this section. Please confirm this before registering for the ACT which is given in October, December, February, April, and June. It is recommended you first take the ACT as a junior in high school. If you are unsure how to register for the ACT, please visit their website .

Here are more details about the individual sections of the ACT. The English section includes usage, mechanical, and rhetorical skills such as punctuation, grammar and organization. The reading section looks at reading comprehension by testing what is directly stated and what is implied. The math section tests the skills acquired by students at the 11th grade level. You will be tested on various areas of natural science within the science section, including reasoning and analytics.
